About Emigrate2USA

I know the space between deciding to move—and actually building a life in America.

Emigrate2USA grew from my own family's move from South Africa to the United States: the immigration strategy, business build, financial decisions, family transition and practical questions that rarely sit neatly in one place.

Our family story

We did not arrive with every answer.

We arrived as a family of five, carrying ten suitcases and an L-1 new-office plan—and learned that the visa is only one part of starting again.

August 2022

Ten suitcases

We left South Africa and arrived in Florida ready to build a business, a home and a new sense of belonging.

The new office

Building from scratch

The L-1 journey meant establishing the U.S. business while learning unfamiliar systems in real time.

The family journey

More than logistics

Schools, friendships, identity, homesickness and finding community mattered just as much as the paperwork.

The next chapter

From temporary to rooted

Our journey progressed from L-1 to permanent residency—and shaped the guidance Emigrate2USA provides today.

The gap I discovered

Information was everywhere. Connected guidance was not.

There were attorneys for immigration, accountants for tax, providers for moving and endless online information. What was missing was someone helping us understand how the decisions affected one another—and what needed to happen next.

Why Emigrate2USA exists

To bring calm and structure to a fragmented journey.

Emigrate2USA helps connect the immigration, business, financial, practical and emotional pieces of moving to America, so individuals and families can make informed decisions with a clearer view of the whole journey.

How the business evolved

From a resource directory to a journey guide.

The original purpose remains: help people find trustworthy information and reputable support. The way Emigrate2USA delivers that value has become more personal, structured and connected.

Where we began

A growing collection of guides, articles and service-provider information designed to make the U.S. move less confusing.

What we are now

A journey-guidance business that combines useful resources with consultations, stand-alone services, Premium Journeys and specialist introductions.

The Bridge to America™

A framework for the whole transition.

Immigration clarity

Understand possible pathways, questions to explore and when qualified legal advice is needed.

Business foundations

Connect entity setup, operating plans and expansion decisions to the wider journey.

Financial readiness

Prepare for cross-border financial and tax questions before they become expensive surprises.

Life and family

Plan for schools, community, credit, settling and the emotional reality of beginning again.

Exploring realistic U.S. pathways and the practical implications of moving.

Establishing, expanding or launching a business in the U.S. market.

L-1 families

The provider network

You should not have to source every specialist alone.

Where relevant, the consulting relationship can connect you with reputable immigration attorneys, CPAs, cross-border advisers, insurance professionals, foreign-exchange providers, mortgage professionals, pet-relocation specialists, shipping companies, document professionals, counsellors and other providers.

Provider introductions are part of the value of the relationship—not a public directory. Every independent provider remains responsible for their advice, work, fees and engagement with you.

You do not need to know every question before you reach out.

Start with where you are now. Together, we can bring more clarity and structure to what comes next.
